Some good days in Seattle are coming to an end. It's hard to be sad since I'm looking forward to new years eve which is tomorrow!
Lights in the city
The rain keeps pouring down and I'm enjoying Christmas time and good friends company. Since my host kids went to Canada yesterday I'm now off until January 6th which feels pretty awesome. We celebrated Christmas with my host family this Friday instead but tomorrow I'm going to another celebration at a norwegian church where there's going to be food and festivities.
Too much of the sweets life have to offer is perfectly enough
A lot have happened this last week. Got sick and couldn't move or eat for two days. Got better and appreciated life much more than before. Went Christmas gift-shopping in a rainy San Francisco. Last night we went out very spontaneous and danced all night long. Today it was cookie exchange with the au pair-group and I got more than enough of sweets. But who cares, it's Christmas time!
The tree is in tha house, yo
We're getting there! The Christmas gifts are bought and the tree is decorated. Now I just can relax and enjoy December as if it would be my last month. Funny huh?

Trying my best to keep the Swedish Christmas traditions alive. So far I'm doing pretty well by watching "julkalendern" and making saffron buns.
